as a demonstration of good will and cooperation from our side, we removed the images you claimend as yours from our site (pls. check http://www.wetandmessy.net/tour3.shtml), as we always did.

Still, we have no "formal" access to this forum, convincing us that the hard reaction we got from you all was due more to  the fear of having a strong competitor in the business than to "ethical" concerns.

Wetfan, please contact me directly via email as i'm tired to  use strange ways to access this forum.

I hope this closes this matter.

bunch of claptrap!  If I take a picture - as I did the two I mentioned on your tour page - and mark the original negative or print with my name the copyright symbol (©) (or the word copyright) and the date, then under the law that picture belongs to ME.  I have the original negatives of those two pictures (and probably the vast majority of other "vintage" images you have on your site) and will be sending these to JJ shortly, along with my written/signed

permission for him to use them.  Do you have any of this?  Since you do not, please remove those from your site.

I would like to thankyou the forum admin for trying to black listing us from your forum. In any case, this is not avoiding me from reading it, so I think that this action is only demonstrating some anti democratic attitude to avoid discussion.

Anyway, I repeat what i said in my previous message, probably not correctly written or read.

All our wet and messy material is fully copyrighted and licensed.

Regarding the vintage stuff, we got it from a third party and not from wetfan of JJ (i did not even know their site before these days).

If there is any copyright problem with these or other images, I invite the owner of copyright to contact us and produce the full documentation (legal and administrative) to prove the ownership of the images. In this case, we'll immediately stop publishing the mentioned images and we'll start a legal action against who gave us the material.

Thank you for your attention, even if somebody probably do not want a possible business competitor to speak.

I noticed their tour contained images belonging to other prople and I challenged them about it. Initially they seemed co-operative and even gave me and MK a password to check out their members area.

When we discovered that ALL the photos (except one photoset that starts wet and ends slightly messy) belonged to other people and were mostly already freely available on the Net anyway, we suggested they closed down until they had their own material to sell. At this point, they became less co-operative and stopped communicating.

The site "appears" to be run by 2 naive girls. Both MK and I doubt this is true as the site design is quite sophisticated and they appear to be well-versed in all aspects of referral and profit-sharing schemes.

When we were able to gain access, we found that the WETLOOK area comprised mostly stolen photos from Scott Hartmann, Wet Kahuna, Wetlook Unlimited, Oasis, Isabelle, Ron Brown, Wet Merlot, Aquantics, IWam, Tess, Lisa Bubbles, Ambers Wet, GP Videoproductions, Splosh. The FOOD area is around 60% Splosh content and also material from Wamtec and Phoebe Pie. The MUD area is photos from Splosh and Wamtec. The VINTAGE area is 100% stolen from vintagewet (Wetfan and JJ).

At the time we could see the area, only one shoot was unique and theirs. Whilst this could now have changed (we no longer have access and they do not reply to emails), you may wish to take these notes as a warning to perhaps not waste your money. I am taking their lack of response to my emails as an admittance of guilt. I wrote to UMD to get them dropped from listings and cut off their source of advertising, but nothing has happened yet.

Perhaps other site owners would care to lobby UMD about this site now? I will persue it no longer as they do not appear to have any of my images any more and I don't have the time. If someone has signed up and would like to report on the latest member content, I'm sure we'd all like to see what these people are up to, and perhaps someone will post an update here?
