I scoped out SL, did alot of looking around and determined my 5 year old puter was TOO OLD to accomondate the requirements of SL. I did however learn that SL can be a money pit, anything you want needs to be paid for. One can find better clothes, one can buy hair that blows in the breeze, even found where one can buy "wetlook" i.e. the look of wetness or sheen from a wet dress or gown. From what Ive heard and still hear SL is still very young but safe to say there are folks who will make alot of money providing for others. Best of luck. |

By wetwhiteandblue - Thu 11/09/08 23:39:32 GMT Has anyone played with Second Life? I'm a newbie with this and am overwhelmed to the many possibilities of wetlook, but can't quite get my hand on it. I have my avatar with tight jeans and shirt. Anyone know some tricks as to getting her wet and changing the clothing to reflect it along with see thru? This site looks like a beast - if only I can tame it a bit.
Has anyone had success with this or am I wasting my time.
And how do you get the avatar to walk towards you?
Thanks!
