Yep....has happened to me several times.....e.g. earlier this year I wanted to post a free wetlook video clip from a famous Russian all-girl pop group....but I was unable to post that message, cos the spelling of this pop group's name happens to be a similar spelling to the world's most popular sexual enhancement product...and thats a banned word on this forum, cos the spammers use it a lot.

Every few months I have this problem of not being able to post messages cos there are some words in there that spammers also use, and many of those words are banned here. It is very frustrating at times...I have to unblock myself every 2-3 months...

I still do not think that this is the best way to handle the spammers, cos this word banning system is not intelligent at all.

The best way to handle the spammers, is the way Graham does it...i.e. via having a proper registration system on the forum.

Have you been blocked from posting ?

A few years ago I devised an auto-blocking system when people mention certain websites or 'naughty' words. If you have been trying to post, but your posts do not appear, then you have probably be caught by this system. For instructions on releasing the block, please contact me, with your email address, and your posting name(s).
