Exactly so! Those are school uniforms worn in the Soviet Union up to the early 80-s. Imagine, all girls dressed up like that! Brrrr!

But these pics were not made in those days. Though the photographer tried to make them look like scans from old black and white photographs. The fact is, at some schools the last bell is celebrated in old-style uniforms. The decisions are probably taken by some nostalgic headteachers. So nowadays these uniforms are worn only once in a lifetime. And what should the girls do with them, but try to destroy? They'll never need them in the future.
