Websters falls is one of the best..
Following stairs to the bottom, you can hike across the river and walk right up behind the cascade. Theres a couple of small pools and spillways to soak in, just down from the bottom.
This is Spencer creek watershed...
Below Websters, on the chart.. see #9 http://www.geocities.com/hamiltonwaterfalls/hamiltonwaterfalls_thewaterfalls.html
This is what we used to call the slime slide in school. The school sits on a former mill site. Access is from the football field across from the old school. Reasonably private..The school closed down.
The falls goes under the train tracks and makes a 90 degree turn , about where this pic taken. A concrete slab runs under the highway. slippery from the algae, etc.. the water wisks one along in the current of the stream... Also, Grindstone Creek, Sherman Falls..( its private property but part of the trail system) Frank Sherman, founder of Dofasco used to own it... Chedoke falls.. ( nice emerald green water in the bowl..but a hike)
Sydenham falls might be worth a visit, but like Tiffany falls, the flow is very minimal in the summer, unless its very rainy..
Enjoy.
