i.e. if England win anything (like the World Cup or some other sporting event) then the cops immediate reaction will be to shut DOWN the fountains at Trafalgar Square and to barricade them up...to prevent the drunken revellers from injuring themselves (cos several people have died over the last 20 years...doing a Johnny Weismuller swan dive off the top fountain into about 6 inches of water).

The in the UK, the wetlook logic is....you must root for some other country to win...cos if the UK wins, they the crowds at the fountains will be too large and hence the old bill shut down the fountains....BUT...if some other country wins...e.g. like when Brazil won the last world cup...then thats good news for wetlook fans, cos the number of Brazilians living on London is fairly small...so they left the fountains open and hence you saw quite a few pics in the news of brazilian girls celebrating in the London fountains.
