There's several names missing from the legends of wetlook- they're still around but hardly mentioned these days- which is a shame.

How about David Wilkey?

Roger Carpenter?

What about Mike Ellison and his WSM tapes?

Up until 10 years ago they were cornerstones of the WAM community.

Roger used to organise the "Aquantics" events in Tenby about 10-15 years ago. I still have several good friends from those days.

Going back even further, Colin Twyford. Many of us in "pre internet" days used to ensure our advertising coincided with Colin's photosets in the mainstream men's magazines.

To the many "newcomers" to the scene- you'd be amazed at what we had to do in those days to get material to our customers.

Who can remember the old "Phoenix" photoset brochures? These were A4 books containing descriptions of sets and miniprints that we stuck into them.

The Aquantics photosets? These were bought as slides, unmounted. In those days you got 12 slides which you mounted yourself and then had to view on a projector and screen : )

Phoenix came along and created the "revolution" of print photosets- 36 pictures for £9.99 (around $17). Guess who was an early customer? Rob Blaine- before Messy Fun was even thought of! In those days producers and customers had a very close relationship- we were more like friends- we all needed each other. Rob and I used to spend hours on the phone (cost a fortune!) he was a great guy!

In those days if you added 100 people to your mailing lists per year you were doing really well- nowdays with the web you can get that within a hour of starting site.

Things have moved on.......

I was just browsing trough my collection of pics and a few names of people who greatly contributed to this community came to my mind. Rob Blaine of course, who made me discover that I wasn't the only one into this wet clothes thing back in 1994 when I discovered the Web, Frankie and his fabulous wet jeans collection at about the same time, Erik Elsas, Kirsta, Carl, Nicco, Ray, Robbie, Leon, Brian, ...

Some of the have passed away, some of them have disappeared, some of them are still here, some of the are the new generation. I must have forgotten quite a lot of names, would it be just because I can't remember some although I picture them very well, but I just wanted to say thanks.
