Bathing suits are unusual in Inda. They are expensive. Monsoon purs down for weeks. Peoples are used to it. It is unspectacular to be wet with clothes on,there. I spend a long time there. ( Jeans fall apart at monsoon time) |

By SoakedinSoCal - Mon 05/05/08 00:50:07 GMT All the waterpark pictures, Bhushi Dam in Lonavala, etc., just amaze me. Hundreds of attractive ladies in full clothing, swimming and sliding and water-dancing like nothing - and enjoying every minute! Although, being a semi-normal man, I like the sight of a nice bikini once in a (great) while on the right woman, the accepted swimwear in India just underscores how mundane and boring a lot of modern U.S. swimwear is (especially a lot of those so called "single piece" bathing suits - uuugghh!!!)
The only thing I wonder about is how paranoid (if at all) the people, waterpark operators and local authorities are about photography in public. I imagine, like many Third World countries, the locals just love to be photographed by foreigners, but law enforcement can weave a different story.
Who knows... Maybe India is the next Thailand, with the bonus being that wetlook is year round, not just one week like Songkran! |
In reply to Message (35601) Is India the real wetlook paradise?
