I am not old parctise programmer, but I think, try this:
1. CAPTCHA for all messages for this forum - you will disable most (or every) robots 2. Random generated question on bottom of every window with new mwssages. In some script you will check answer and than move this message on this forum. 3. Clever result is, if every new messages will opened in new window without menus, scrollbars etc. Other chance is iframe. Have a nice day.

My change proves that spammers are just idiots, or bots.
Can anyone guess the change that has confused them ?
