That causes the first part of the link to be clickable (half a link obviously doesn't work) and the second part not clickable. Then the whole link won't copy and paste, and I have to retype the whole link in the address bar to view it. |

By Barry - Sun 06/04/08 07:01:23 GMT If you want to post a Flickr link, add a space somewhere in the URL. This forces the forum users to copy and paste it, and that thwarts the Flickr users ability to see where the photo is linked. |

By Desert Hawk - Fri 04/04/08 01:47:27 GMT When someone posts a link to a picture on Flickr, can the picture owner see where the link came from? I know that in the past the owner didn't see this information. On a link I posted a few years ago the picture owner was wondering where all the hits came from. On a link I posted yesterday apparently the picture owner found this site and replied asking that the link be removed (the picture has been locked up as well). One other one is also locked. What about Webshots and Photobucket? |
