I have two groups at Yahoo. One group I have had for five years and in that time I had about 12 spam messages which I always deleted immediately. The other group I started about one year ago, and it has never had any spam on that site. Some moderators of Yahoo groups do not take care of their groups, and then very quickly they are snowed under by an avalanche of spam. Spammers very quickly know what groups are easy for them, and which groups can not be touched. Besides deleting the spam, I also always delete the member who put the spam into my group. |
