Zoiks, looks like its been a busy day here. But seriously, Placebo Effect has yet again hit the nail on the head. Again. Complaining about free stuff is f**king weird, afterall its FREE. Might as well E-mail a record company saying you downloaded a song from Kazaa and thought it was sh1t. Sigh.

It seems so hollow saying this after people have been pissed off but for what its worth, thanks for your work, without you all I'd still believe I was a freak and for that alone I owe you a great deal.

.......it's a sad fact of life. I went years thinking i was the only person in the world into wetlook (before the good ol' net) and had to make do with the odd TV clip i had somehow managed to tape. We all need to remember how lucky we are now to have access to superb wetlook produced by people in their own time for our benifit. There is nothing to stop producers just using their productions for themselves, in fact why shouldn't they!! We ALL owe a great debt of gratitude to all the producers and a reminder such as yours gives the wake up call to show our appreciation more often. Let's not take anything for granted because i for one remember the dark old days. I still pinch myself to check i am not dreaming 6-7 years after discovering the wetlook community on here.

For the last eighteen months styx-photography.com (the freesite) has delivered new photosets every week- to eveyone, for free, nothing, zilch, buckshee, etc.

For free I have made a point of updating the site EVERY week. I have placed mpegs on there for people to download too. My free updates have been more reliable than many paysites.

Now the site has changed name to styxFREEworld and I'm in the process of transfering the galleries over. The reason for the dely? Because I am making the pictures twice as big as before!

The question is, am I completely wasting my time? Judging from the comments of some people on this forum it looks like I am.

I don't mind really, I'm quite happy to put the costs of running the freesite into my wallet. I am also happy to use the hours I spend running the site into other things.

This weekend the first of the 9 bigger galleries were going to be transfered onto the new site, including a new gallery of Jo May in a tub of custard.

But quite franky, unless I get get some positive feed back- I ain't going to bother!

I have better things to do with my time and money than waste it on people who are either ungrateful or downright hostile!

Choice is yours guys
