I saw a post asking what happened to my wetlook collection on Flickr. I was dropped without warning for violating community guidelines. The exact guidelines broken were not given to me. Since I always marked my photos restricted and private, allowing only certain people in, I feel it must have been the unintentional, but unauthorized use of copywrited materials. If that is the case, I do wish the owner would have simply contacted me and asked for either credit, or removal. Another possiblity is that I was promoting paysites, without thinking. I had several photos of the WetlookDVD series. This was obvious from the photos themselves, with the website clearly showing. It may have been that Flickr didn't like that. To date, I have not received any particular reason for the removal. Until I find out, I don't plan to go back on Flickr and have my work vanish again.
