I think I'd been online for about 8 months when the UMD was created. It was exciting but I'd probably already seen all the links on there (at least the ones I cared for... I never searched for pies.) Still, it was great to not have to go to the search engine everyday. This was back when AOL charged by the minute.

I remember some forums for wetlook. Because I was on a roomate's computer I could never bookmark stuff though. The wetlook forums seemed to pop up and go dead quickly back then too. It definately cool to still reccognize a lot of the old names from nine years ago.

As for wetlook posts, I don't remember many specifically. Winter wetlook didn't really exist back then. I think there was one guy named Winterschwimmer who vanished soon after I found him. (By the time I started seeing any winter wetlook my new wife was making photos and videos for me, so I still haven't bought a set or paysite access)

I do recall really liking the Wetting Album formal site. That was such a great collection fo back then, and probably still is the best collections of wet formal wear I've seen.

Ah, memories.

OK, as far back as you can remember, who/what were some of the original wetlook postings? My time goes back to 1998 or so ... and the earliest I remember is a guy named "Mathias." It was when I first discovered the Internet and this forum, and I recall saying to myself ... "holy shit, there are a whole bunch of people like me who have this same fetish!" I recall that every picture was like a new gift ... from the time when you would hunt and peck in 1000 magazines or whatever to find a picture and here they were, all in one place, all original, ready for your viewing pleasure!
