My first encounter with the 'pros' was on the late Rob Blaine's website back in 1995. MK also had the Aquatapes and WAMTEC sites up and running back then. There was an old pre-html forum called the USENET... a newsgroup called alt.binaries.sex.fetish.wet-and-messy was the only real exchange between fellow wammers. The few HTML pages that were out there was just a collection of magazine scans and the like and the 'paysites' didn't start until about 1997 with Brian from Crazy Girls (since moved on.)
Even older than that was Rob's monthly newsletter which he would mail out to all that subscribed. And yet earlier there were the yearly Aquantics meeting in the UK going back almost into the 1980's. Prior to that I don't know of any organized wam productions other than the occasional mud wrestling match. |

By wetwhiteandblue - Thu 29/11/07 03:44:57 GMT Frankie here! Yep, those were the good old day, but today are also the good ole day when thinking what will transpire 10 years from now.
My first exposure to wetlook on the Internet was Rob Blaine's website. Of course, Wet Jeans Club to me was one of the great pioneers of wet (what else?) jeans on the Internet!

By Absolutely Soaked - Thu 29/11/07 01:51:08 GMT I do remember the mid-90's when there was a site called the "Wet Jeans Club." That site had some of my favorites at the time. In particular, they started posting Frankie's pics from the 70's & I remember thinking that it was a gold mine! Of course, I may have never found the wetlook community in the first place if it were not for the late Rob Blaine and this forum's very own Nigel. Rob's snail-mail newsletter (which I had found a small advert for in Penthouse), led to me purchasing my first wetlook video...one of Nigel's. From that moment on, I was hooked! :-) Thanks Rob, Nigel & Wet Jeans Club guy, whoever you were.
I think it's interesting to learn how each other found the wetlook community. Even though it's gotten closer to the mainstream, "wetlook" still doesn't seem to generate as much buzz as other fetishes and for the life of me, I don't know why. From people's reactions when I shoot, I know plenty of people find it sexy, so I really would expect a lot more people to be into it than wetlook website traffic numbers suggest. OK, I'm officially rambling...I'll stop now. |

By Wet Guy - Thu 29/11/07 01:28:46 GMT OK, as far back as you can remember, who/what were some of the original wetlook postings? My time goes back to 1998 or so ... and the earliest I remember is a guy named "Mathias." It was when I first discovered the Internet and this forum, and I recall saying to myself ... "holy shit, there are a whole bunch of people like me who have this same fetish!" I recall that every picture was like a new gift ... from the time when you would hunt and peck in 1000 magazines or whatever to find a picture and here they were, all in one place, all original, ready for your viewing pleasure!
