I live in the United States and I agree with you 100%!  Women here are fatter than most other parts of the world - especially Europe.

Let's put the rear pockets where they belong - on the buttocks and not the upper part of the legs!

Who's old enough to remember the tight fitting waist high white-threaded Jordache jeans of the '70's?  Perfection jeans IMHO.

BTW, 2 euro cents = 3 U.S. cents, so you're getting 50% more opinion that us Yanks!  LOL

O.K., I am an American but I have lived in Germany the last 9 years and will live in Poland for the rest of my life soon.  The problem with low rise jeans is the wrong women wearing them.  Here in Geramny and most of Europe including Poland, the average woman is several kilos lighter than women in America and also England.  That is just a fact.  Yes, overweight women look terrible in low cut jeans.  I think a well proportioned woman looks quite nice in a pair of low rise Miss Sixty or similar jeans.  Whine and flame all you want but I think a large percentage of American women are way overweight and I don't want to hear any euphimisms like "curvy" or "real woman".  Fat is fat!  My fiance is Polish and she is a well rounded woman but she is smart enought not to wear low rise jeans and she works out every day and stays tight.  Just my 2 euro cents.

For the last ten years, mainstream fashion has been for "hipsters", those horrid low-waist trousers and jeans that give even skinny people "love handles", and completely ruin even the nicest figure.  But at long last there is good news - low waists are out of fashion!

A BBC report on the subject (info only - no wetlook content): http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7096129.stm

Remember all the classic wetlook from the early 1990s, when jeans back pockets were actually on the buttocks, and when both thin and curvy girls could show off their figures in clothes that both looked good, and didn't need to be constantly hitched up?  Hopefully, those days are back!

I've put together a quick free page with some old wet jeans promo pictures given away by other producers back in the 1990s, just to demonstrate how much nicer high-waisted jeans look, you can see the images here: http://wench.gungemaster.com/public/archive/

Great news!
