Eeek - the way underwear showed above hipsters was one of the things I hated the most about it - that and what in the UK is called "builder's clevage" when a hipster-wearer bent down.

Though it's all personal taste at the end of the day - I guess people who grew up seeing folk in hipsters will generally like them more than those of us who grew up in different fashion eras.

For the last ten years, mainstream fashion has been for "hipsters", those horrid low-waist trousers and jeans that give even skinny people "love handles", and completely ruin even the nicest figure. But at long last there is good news - low waists are out of fashion!

Remember all the classic wetlook from the early 1990s, when jeans back pockets were actually on the buttocks, and when both thin and curvy girls could show off their figures in clothes that both looked good, and didn't need to be constantly hitched up? Hopefully, those days are back!
