By Wet Brian - bdann0875@rootesgroup.fslife.co.uk Tue 08/04/03 03:52:06 GMT Website: www.apex-wetlook.co.uk I am having the same problem, exceeding bandwith from Geocities. That's why I have approached Graham. He is a very helpful guy,I hope to have a new site up in May! What really pisses me off is you can spend HOURS scanning or cropping pics, putting them on the site or as I have done recently, uploaded them to UMD,you get like 3000 people looking at your pics and get maybe 3 replies!! Atleast those that do reply are comlementary,so thanks to you!! End of rant, now getting ready for a break in Thailand, hope to come back recharged and ready to post more pics!!! Brian |
In reply to Message (3115) wet jeans website
By michael - waterwold501@yahoo.com Tue 08/04/03 02:33:51 GMT Website: www.geocities.com/waterworld501/index I am seriously pissed. two weeks I build a website with tons of great wet jeans pics of my wife and the master geocities doesn't allow any access because the "data transfer was exceeded". in other words: my site is too big, holds too much data and too many people tried to access the page in a too short period of time. but at any time I could increase my data transfer rate (for $$$ of course). so much for a FREE webpage. 2 weeks intense work for nothing. maybe you just want to keep the address and try again in some months (haha). I'm still pissed. anyway, have a good one MJ
