Are you "sure" that this beats Albany. I checked all the pics, and I found several other websites with galleries too, plus even a streaming video of it also. Just type "Spirit Splash" into Google and you will find lots of websites with pics.

I am not sure if I agree with you regarding this being better than Albany...cos remember that old rule...the cooler the weather..the more clothing, so better. If the weather is hotter, then less clothing = lamer. Albany is jam packed full of girls wearing full length jeans or dresses. I have checked all those UCF pics and it looks like your average crowd at any theme park...i.e. 99% shorts and t shirts.

I don't think that 100 girls in shorts is better than 100 girls in full length designer jeans.

Anyway..I live about 3.5 hrs drive from that location...if you can find me some more interesting pics then maybe I will drive up there myself.

I did some research and find that this year the Spirit Splash event will take place on friday, October 25th. If anybody on this forum lives closer to the Orlando area, let us know.  It looks like the marching band and cheerleaders are at these events too...so if they go in the fountain pool too, then it could be good...but I have not seen any pics yet that really compared to Albany...so please search and find us some more promising pics and then maybe I will drive up there and tape it.

Just wonder if MK could send a "film crew" and check this out at the next Homecoming since its in his territory (so to speak).  Sure beats Albany and besides that, warm weather is almost a 100% guarentee than Albany.
