Do you have any friends with a pool?  Here's a few things I've done to set up wetlook events.

1) Have a friend with a pool host a surprise party for your wife (birthday, promotion, etc.).  Since it's a surprise, she won't be wearing/bringing a bathing suit, and if you take her out to dinner beforehand, she'll be dressed up.  The other participants will of course know about the pool, and can bring their suits, and there she'll be, sitting by the pool with everyone else swimming.  Someone will get the idea to throw her in.

2) volunteer to "keep an eye on the house" for someone with a pool while they're on vacation.  After a nice dinner with your wife, go stop by to check on the house, including the pool.  Get playful/romantic, and see what happens.

3) find a romantic getaway with a private pool - Sybaris, the Poconos, etc.  Make sure the emphasis is not on wetlook, but on romance and relaxed fun.

All these have worked for me in the past.  I would suggest you make the wetlook something not just associated with sex, but set up situations where she might get wet, and then be sure to be particularly romantic afterwards.  She may resent the fact that you're giving her the signal that you're not interested in her, but in any woman in wet clothes.  If you make her the focus of the activity, on some occasions you'll get spectacular wetlook, on others it just won't happen.  If you react the same to both, she'll get the right message.
