Just getting around to editing all the footage from my trip to Thailand last month. Here are some pics I ran off from the first 2hr DVD of scenes. As you can see, there was a lot going on this year..i.e. waterfight girls, dancing girls, girls in red tights, girls in the dunk tank, girls playing at the canal etc. Here are 120 pics I ran off from the video footage....

One of the nicer aspects this year, was that the city promoted 2 main themes for Songkran this year...and this was in banners and flags all overr the city...i.e. the theme was....NO ALCOHOL and NO SMOKING. Of course this was not enforced by the cops and many people ignored this....but this general theme was a good one...cos there was far less rowdiness this year, and it made for a far more pleasant and enjoyble event....with less accidents...and unlike prior years where you always saw street fights...I did not see anybody going out of control this year.
