You're very astute regarding the post numbers. I encounted two more spams (29249 & 29250) since I posted the original message. I check this forum very often during the course of the day - one of the advantages of retirement, so I'm pretty much on top of these unwanted post.

I rarely see a spam post before it gets discovered & deleted....all done in the background...so well done!

The only evidence I see is if you pay attention to the post numbers, there are some missing which indicates that there has been a post there and then deleted.

In case anyone is wondering, I am SPAM CONTROL and more often than not I am the one responsible of deleting the recent influx of spam and other porn access sites from this forum.

You can usually tell who these people are by the following telltale signs:

1) unusual names after the subject

2) no country flag - just a ?

3) message always includes <a (website address) a>

I strongly urge anyone not to open these sites. SPAM CONTROL will often catch them and delete them

I also strongly urge those who regularly contribute to PLEASE include your country flag (or any flag) of origin to seperate you from unwanted messages. SPAMMERS always omit the flag.
