I suspect a lot of my Mom's friends can't sing worth a darn, but that doesn't mean I want to hear them screeching away on American Idol while I'm trying to eat my dinner.

I'd say post whatever you want as long as it's within the rules of the forum, but if it's material that you know is, shall we say, popular to a relatively small subset of the forum users, why not have the courtesy to mention the nature of the material in the subject? Is a little courtesy too much to ask? You may get fewer negative remarks that way.

Unfortunately I don't open most SC links at all because I can't handle some of that stuff, and I know I miss some good ones. But I like to know the depth of the water before I dive in. Why should the more mainstream SC ladies lose out because a poster can't be more specific? Do some posters have an alterior motive for trying to slip in material that's unpleasant for many people?

Who cares how they look? I know the Charms girls don't, otherwise they won't be showing themselves.

So stop the pissing and moaning that "Oh man, WHALE WATCH" and whatnot.

Think of it this way:

at least ONE of your friend's mother is overweight. Do you go up to THEM and tell them they're a WHALE?
