I know because I just became single again after many years with a partner who was not always so into my fetish.  Now, I'm very up front early with the girls that I date.  The ones who really like me are eager to please.   None of them have freaked out (which makes me feel foolish for how ashamed and private I used to be).  In fact, they are usually very nonchalant about it.  Everyone has their things that turn them on, and I think everyone knows that.  Just don't act like it's a big, freaky, scandalous thing.  Just be out with it--I like wet socks--and if she's into you, she'll know what to do.  

Of course, finding someone who ALREADY likes the same thing you do, in equal measure, is hard.  Maybe that's asking too much.  If so, you just have to teach them to like it. Make it fun for them too, and they will.
