Digital-8 or Hi-8 work equally well, and the quality difference between them is not discernable in most cases. I use Hi-8 since digitals were unaffordable when I bought mine two years ago, but I will likely go to digital-8 soon.

Just curious to know what type camcorders & cameras are used. From what I've seen of most producers videos the quality's great! Thanks!
