Then you'd most certainly not like this scenario:

I don't think you could take a bath with most spiders: they're not aquatic. However, there are species of spiders that can work underwater by trapping oxygen in their body hair. They spin a silken underwater canopy, splash the water, catch the air bubbles and carry them underwater, stashing them in their canopy where they cannot rise: the surface tension must stop it from passing through the roof.

Thing is, like the spider in the shower above, they all live and work in the nude. What we have to do is convince them all to wear clothes and start a new trend ;) Maybe if the men all do that, the women will stop eating them for dinner?

Wow that is the strangest comment ever. I don't know about your fascination with spiders but I would certianly not advise taking a bath with one. That may require months in therapy, not to mention creeping out any girl you ever meet.

Ah, well, see, I'm still in Britain where the spiders are all wuvly an' cute :) These are my babies:

Not literally mine, but they all want to live in this house, and they are all babies. I do have a photo somewhere of a very wet spider ;-) (Huddled on a lamp post, covered in dew drops) Not sure that it would turn anyone on here, unless there are any spiders posting ...

Your head? Ha, that reminds me ... back when I was at secondary school, we had a half-arsed clothed swimming lesson at school once. Something along the lines of wear a shirt (and I mean a proper smart shirt, i.e. won't hold any water and therefore hardly a good test!) over your swimsuit. I can't swim now and I could barely swim then, so I didn't take part. But there was a girl in my class who looked OK dry, but in a see-through wet shirt and long, soaking wet blonde ponytail, was really hot. I am not sure if it was that that made me slip and fall over backwards on the poolside floor, or whether it was a co-incidence, but I did :P Ow. (The more annoying part was trying to hide an erection by having to stay in the water. D'oh).

The weirdest thing of all, is the first person who found out I liked wetlook (owing to a strange mishap), ended up creating a standing joke about me liking "spider wetlook" and that I took baths with spiders. I drew a sketch of a spider in the shower with a shower cap on for him; I still have that somewhere on paper (but not scanned in, that I know of).

And no, I'm not a customer.

Well these spiders are awful .... Infact I dont like to kill them really, I had a broom that I would have caught them on and then I would have thrown it in the garden. oh ... you feeling sorry for the spider, well what about me falling in the pool, I could have hit my head !!! Aww poor spider ... Served you right :P Spiders are cute little critters and deserve to live. I don't know if you saw a crab spider or not -- back in England I think that's all we have, but since you're in the US you might have seen a huntsman spider, which I think look crabby sometimes too owing to their legs jointing at weird angles. But yes, there are many species classified as crab spiders for their resemblance to crabs.

And yes, that would have been so good to have on film, yum.

Hi Everyone ............ Hope all is well !!! Getting back to normal now after the New Year .... I have to tell you something funny that happened the other day .. I was trying to sqat a spider around my pool area ...a big crab spider ( well thats what I call them, as they look a bit like crabs) and I freaked myself out as the spider jumped towards me ... I screamed and fell backwards into the pool...Yes I did. It was a bit of a shock, especially as I was fully clothed. I wish I had a webcam set up outside in my patio area . Just to get that on film eh !!!! The worst of it was I had just straightend my hair and was ready to go out for Lunch with a friend. Bummer !!! Oh well, actually it kinda felt good again to get in the pool. Anyway, back to business. This weeks video clip features Jo and India as Wetlook pom-pom girls. Enjoy !!!
