Well, of course, but I thought summer and fall had pretty slim pickin's, too, compared to a couple years ago, when I first found this forum. YouTube and MySpace either didn't exist yet or most people hadn't heard of it yet.

The reason there aren't many new candid shots is because it is winter! Cold weather and wetlook go together like Plymouth Sundances and steep mountain grades! (see the political thread for more on that subject). The only new pictures being posted now are from Florida, the southern hemisphere, pictures from last summer someone is just now getting around to uploading, indoor events, and polar bear swimming. Summer will bring lots more candid wetlook pictures. Even the great water ride fan (myself) will not ride water rides in this weather.

You may be right about people doing more video than static shots. Never thought of that.

I'm trying to decide if the low amount of good candid shots is because:

-We've found and seen most of them already

-The quality is just as good, but the static shots 'can't compete' with the excitement of video (i.e. _we_, the viewers, have changed)

-putting up pics is passe, now all the kids are doing videos.

Hmm.
