There is an annual Polar Bear Dip at Coronation Park in Oakville.

I'm not sure I'm up for checking it out, even though I live just across town. The park is rather small with minimal parking facilities... if it draws any sort of crowd (participants, spectators, media), it will be a zoo getting in or out.
