...is that it's always the same. The box is always set to on to make a post sucessful, so the bots would have to be programmed to make it seem like the box is checked every time, which can be done.

I'd rather see a random code generator. Since it's different every time, a bot programmed to enter a single code each time won't fool it. They can be programmed many ways, of course. There's a site, I think google, where certain things use a random code. It's only three letters or numbers long, and it's not case sensitive.

And kudos for the idea of not registering... I'm glad Nigel isn't in favor of the idea, either!

As thse spams are created by spambot programmes, what about the addition of a little tick box?

A little box you have to tick to prove you are human, certainly easier than creating accounts etc, if you could get the code to alter slightly and change the code location of the tick box, it would confuse the spybot!

All the people here would have to do is click a little box that says "I am human", everytime they post, without clicking it, the post does not get made! Although the feedback to the generator could say that it is, if you know what i mean?
