Well, you all have me beat. Wet jeans are nice, but I can't enjoy the wet waistband.

But you mentioned competitions, and I thought of the recent round of Guinness World Records. So, what's the world record for staying in wet clothes, or for the most people wet in clothes at the same place and time? Or something like that. Since an attempt would necessarily involve non-enthusiasts, would it _create_ some enthusiasts? Hmm...

I have worn soaked clothes all day when on holiday incornwall with my wife.It was during the hot summer both my wife and Iwent in the sea on our early morning wals and got very wet then by time we got back to our holiday cottagewere semi dry only to wade through the still running river as a short cut to the village if we need shopping.My wife had her denim skirt on on one of the days and even got wet again in a council sprinkler outside a small cemetry seen by several people.Upon return on more than one day we showerd as well so at the end of the day we probably could have beaten your record,it would be fun for a likeminded group of people to have a competition for a bit of fun.

When you get wet how long do you keep your clothes on for?

Recently there was really heavy rain here so I went for a cycle and for the first time ever got completely soaked by the rain - it normally doesn't rain that hard. When I got back I sat in the back yard drinking a beer, still raining, for an hour. It was dark by then so I headed off to some field that I knew were flooded and spent some time jumping and rolling around in puddles.

All in all, I was soaked for about 4 hours.

Anyone beat that?
