To echo and add to Leon's comments ...
Providing free clips, even if you are a producer, does not produce extra business. We do it because we like to provide free videos. We get satisfaction by showing off our work and pleasure from the fact that many people appreciate what we do. A few even take the trouble to comment or thank.
We have loaded (to date) 7 free clips on TheWAMBank. It has produced no noticable increase in business (to our PPV site), and we have taken the entire hit of the bandwidth for almost 4000 downloads. That's 3 times the number of other producers. It's all entirely free and we have nothing in return, except for a few comments. But we will still keep loading clips there and still keep pointing them out to people so they can download them and enjoy them for free. But not on this forum any more.
As has been indicated in other recent postings, the attitude and aggressive nature of certain people here is very different to several other places where clips and free samples are posted. I'm sure it's only a small number of people, but it is spoiling it for everyone else.
As Leon has said, why should producer's bother? I agree with him, and I won't be bothering here either. |

It's more than clear, that the very fewest Clips are being shared just out of generosity. Most of them are commercials to get more customers for the sites.
So finally shut up weeing around buaaaah, someone shares the clips I shared as a commercial! Especially leonmoomin is one of the first.
Besides, you didn't have to share it. The fact that you did shows that it is also - and MOSTLY! - for your OWN BENEFIT!
So just let it and just complain if someone REALLY shares a clip you actually would have TO PAY for. This "someone-steals-my-toy" - attitude is highly annoying!
