I want to let everyone know that due to a recent rash of stolen-card chargebacks against vendors in the Mothership system, we are stepping up security. From this point forward, you MUST enter the EXACT street address listed on your credit card statement and it must have a numeric component. The correct city, postal code, email address, and phone number are also required. No more "around back of the Essex Hotel" or that sort of thing for you Brits :-D We will also no longer accept "anonymous" or nonsense input in any of the form fields. Anyone attempting this will be permanently blocked from every server and WAM website (several hundred) in our system.

If you have moved recently, you still need to enter the exact address that your card issuer currently has on file. it doesn't matter where you actually live. What matters is where the card issuer *THINKS* you live.

Please note that we are NOT a bunch of spammers and none of your customer information will ever be used for EVIL purposes ;-). A lot of it is discarded after the authorization and anything we hang onto for customer service reasons is encryped and stored OFFLINE in an ultra-secure facility.

Sorry it has come to this. We have always been a sort of "family" group at TheMothership and a lot of things have worked pretty much on a handshake, but there are a couple of scumbags running around messing things up for everyone.

At least we're not at the retinal scan and urine sample level yet :-D
