Yesterday she said in a popular German late night show ("Harald Schmidt Show") that she is doing the film "Youth without Youth" with Francis Ford Coppola in Romania. As an evidence of his eccentric working style Alexandra Maria Lara told the following story:

"We were sitting in the hotel at breakfast - the whole cast and crew - and we noticed that the sea was unusually rough that day. Suddenly Coppola said to me, we'll do the scene in the ocean.That was really stupid in the middle of November!"

Harald Schmidt: "The interesting thing is: what were you wearing?"

A.M.L.:"The night-dress of the original scene!"

I assert that Lara is just playing the naiv girl in public and has got to know a lot of different directors with various favourites... Coppola a wetlooker?
