Gee there already is a waterpark on the strip. It's called Wet n' Wild and it is right next to the Sahara... waay down on the end of Las Vegas Blvd. I was there a couple years ago and nothing special as far as wetlook... however the hotel pool NEVER FAILED!!! I had one of those 'wish I had my camera' moments SEVERAL times in LV... at different hotel pools. First one was a teenage chick with long hair... probably too young to gamble but old enough to drive... who just walked into the pool in a skirt and long white cotton shirt. I talked to her for a bit and she said she was a local girl who liked to hang out at the pool. Why no swimsuit then? 'I didn't expect to go swimming'. More like she was enjoying herself! If i were only seventeen again! The other times were a chick who forgot to pack a swimsuit and wore actually two shirts one on top of the other and a pair of regular panties, and another couple girls who were either with boyfriends or I just didn't feel comfortable talking to them. But overall, the best place to catch a chica swimming in clothes is in a hotel pool... doesn't even have to be vegas even... hotel pools just rock!

New waterpark in Las Vegas

There is a new waterpark coming to Las Vegas. A huge megaresort including the waterpark, casino, hotel, and even an indoor snow dome, is scheduled to open in 2008 or 2009. Part of the waterpark will be indoors under a dome, and will operate year-round. The big question, of course, is will they allow fully clothed? To use a few tired old gambling chiches, the odds are against it and I wouldn't bet on it. Aah, but if they do, and if the casino has lots of penny slot machines and $5 blackjack, this place could be a Desert Hawk's absolute paradise! Probably the best we can hope for is that they will allow trunks with t-shirts for both men and women (and $10 blackjack, which is unfortunately the norm for the Strip these days). It is going to be located at the far south end of the Strip, a very long bus ride from downtown (where I always stay). I will probably have to ride the Deuce all the way from DTC to SSTT and transfer to the 117 (go to www.catride.com (the Las Vegas city bus system) if you are curious about what I am talking about). I am starting to ramble now. Just thinking about anything Vegas makes my mind flip out!!! A cool waterpark that allows fully clothed would make Vegas even more dear to my heart! Viva Las Vegas!!!
