For Opera users, if you want to get rid of JavaScript as per what xbertx says: Open his link to the Webshots page. Then go to Tools > Quick Preferences > Edit Site Preferences. Change the site box to just read "webshots.com". Go to the Scripting tab and untick Enable JavaScript.
The Web is nearly unusable without JavaScript but this trick will remove JavaScript from Webshots. Refresh the page and, as xbertx says, you can now save the smaller image with a right-click. |

By xbertx1 - bertel@w4ymail.com Fri 06/10/06 11:05:25 GMT As the question arises frequently I made a graphic showing how to get the full size image which can be saved easely. Simply click on one of the icons marked with a red arrow and the full size image will be loaded in a new browser window. Tip: If you want a faster and flash-free version of webshots simply disable javascript in your browser. You will notice that you can also save the smaller images because they are no longer displayed in a flash applet. If you want to know how to disable javascript consult your browsers help. The snapshot displayed in the graphic is taken from http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/1306119112059197395umisXE. |
