Actually, if you follow that link and root around a bit you will find a couple of women getting wet. I just think the guy grabbed the chance (as per earlier threads about those of us who like to get wet in the other sex's clothes).

Found the official site and they seem to be men wearing dresses in the water for some kind of chartable cause.

I don't know ANYTHING about this event or even if it's on the level but maybe someone like MK can verify it's authenticity. The Santa Monica Pier does have free concerts but this is the first I've heard of this wet dress event.
