Hm, I get a little box on MySpace videos telling me I need to upgrade to Flash Player 9. Which is why I did not rule out there being other causes, if people don't even see that. Maybe that only appears if you already have Flash 8?
And, yep, you're not the only person I've encountered who has trouble with sites needing Flash 8 or 9; MySpace is the first site I've encountered which needs 9, however. |

Aha....So that's why it doesn't work for me. I just get a still picture. Probably because I use Flash Player 7. Nothing newer is available for Linux. |

I thought you got a progress bar showing the video being downloaded, at the bottom? You're not the first person to complain of MySpace video pages doing absolutely nothing.
You have Macromedia Flash Player 9 installed in your browser (required by MySpace) and have confirmed that it works correctly? And what operating system (e.g. Windows XP, Mac OS X Tiger, Linux+KDE 3) and Web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 1.5) are you using? |

On DSL it can take a few seconds or even a minute, depending on the length of the video. If you're on a dialup connection, forget it. |

I cannot view Myspace videos. I press play and the screen is just black. What should I do?
