Hmmmm.....
Can't you have just e-mailed the Web address to the e-mail account that you read from the other user account?
If you're in Mac OS X or -- probably! -- Windows XP, there will be a folder in your user account for files to share with other users, and you could have dragged the URL from the address bar (you may need to drag the icon next to it) to the desktop and dropped it into that folder. Depending on admin rights, one of your user accounts may be able to see files in the other account such as that shortcut file. Maybe your wetlook account has write access to somewhere else on the drive, such as C: (in Windows).
Course, pen and paper is probably still faster :)
I have no idea why you need two bloody user accounts though... I don't have two. (OK I do, mine, and the Administrator account just in case mine breaks or I forget the password :) That saved me at work once after another fucking forced password change and I forgot my new one (as usual) -- for good (instead of finally guessing after wracking my brain). Had to undo the damage from the spare Adminstrator account ;) At home, my password never changes anyway. The Mac has no logins or user accounts at all, bless it.) |

By regenman - regenman@planet.nl Thu 10/08/06 16:32:28 GMT Your site poses me with a problem I have not encountered before. You see, I have two logins on my computer: One I use for everyday-use, and another dedicated to wetlook and WAM, with its own email address. You might guess I'm using that second account now. However, being an active Bright and atheist, I'm going to spend some serious time browsing through your site, so I needed to copy the link to my normal account. Guess what? Best way I could find was /pen and paper/... The whole site looks well written and well thought through. Let's see if you reach the level of Dawkins and Dennett... :-)
