Experience I've had with getting shoes wet, girls wearing theirs and my own, they seem to dry just fine. Leather might take a couple days to dry completely. Stuff paper, rags or paper towels in the to help them keep their shape when they dry can help leather shoes. Good quality shoes seem to do okay getting soaked.

I was wondering for those people who get wet in the shower or bath with their shoes on, do you use waterproofing spray to keep your shoes in good shape after getting them wet or are they just fine after drying them with a towel.
