Hey, this report was requested, so here goes:

Nothing to tell.

I've mentioned being pessimistic, and sure enough, not one of the four girls in the class seemed to have any intention of going. While I got positive answers Monday ("sure, okay."), two left class early today to catch a bus, and no one mentioned the invitation. No one had bags for swimming gear.

So, I'm glad I didn't hold my breath or otherwise get my hopes up. It's just as well, gas is expensive and it'll be about a week and a half until payday. But I might go to a park by myself this afternoon.
