Yes it's true worldwide that more and more women wear jeans than ever before. Today's favorite fit is very tight, which means perspiration goes into the denim and then to vapor, keeping the body cool. It's a misperception that jeans keep you warm in hot weather. In Russia more women wear jeans, than a few years ago. Mainly it's a general tendency. About 10 years ago the majority of women preferred to wear skirts/dresses in summer, explaining that jeans/trousers were too hot. And in Soviet times most women wore skirts even in cold seasons.

Now the situation is different. Though you can see more women in skirts in summer than in other seasons, still lots of women prefer trousers. And quite many wear jeans even during the peak of the heatwave.

My question is: what about your country. Do more women wear jeans now than 10 or 20 years ago?

And is it only due to the tendency in Russia, or is it because modern jeans are more comfortable for wearing in hot weather?

Oh yes I do remember these days. There must have been no more than 4 or 5 wetlook sites back in '95. Was there even a forum then ? Do I sound like an old fart ?

Anyway, I do remember Frankie's pics. They are amongst the best. Thanks to both of you.

These pictures are the original work of Frankie, taken back in the 60s and 70s. He mailed me the prints back in 1995 and I scanned them in a low and higher resolution format and distributed the low res versions on a site called The Wet Jeans Club. (Remember the old dial up modem days of connecting to the Internet?) The higher res images, which are in these webshots albums were never distributed. If you like em, send a Thank You to Frankie for his fantastic work!
