I've been wrestling for a long time with how to make more of my work available to you and cover at least some of my expenses associated with the photo shoots. I've had very flattering offers from several of the best producers of pay wetlook sites, but I'm just not prepared to conform to their requirements, no matter how reasonable.

Here's what I've come up with. I've set up a group on Flickr. It's members-only, but you can join for free. I've placed 50 photos in the group for your viewing pleasure. I'll place more as time goes on if donations are made to help me cover the expenses of future shoots. I've done a rough calculation and find that it costs me about $50 to produce 10 decent shots; therefore, for every $50 contributed BY THE GROUP, I'll select 10 nice shots and put in the group.

Clearly, anyone can be a freeloader. I think of it like public radio--some pay so all may benefit. If enough people join and contribute, the cost per photo per person will be low. If not, the whole concept will probably fail.

So I'm giving it a shot. Follow the link to the group. You need to be a member of Flickr (which requires a Yahoo password). Registering for Yahoo is free and fast. Then request to join the group. I'll approve requests and you're in.
