So Windows 9x' maximum command line length is 128? Silly.
Try to omit all characters behind the filename in the URL (starting with '&'), maybe that's enough for the server.

By anonymous - Sat 01/07/06 18:39:04 GMT This command line appears to be too long for Windows to handle. It gets truncated to just:
mplayer -dumpstream -dumpfile dump1.wmv -playlist http://streaming3.vidilife.com/vidilife/video/2006/1/9/227037/346062.wmv&noSt
Any other suggestions? |

By WetMartina - Sat 01/07/06 12:26:33 GMT To get the stream as a file, download and install mplayer from www.mplayerhq.hu/, then run the following from the command line (put all into one line): mplayer -dumpstream -dumpfile dump1.wmv -playlist http://streaming3.vidilife.com/vidilife/video/2006/1/9/227037/346062.wmv&noStream=0&tinystreamingserver=3&vchrMediaProgramIDCryp=45413784-6598-40FF-B93A-7&intAdID=0Note: it takes about 3 minutes to download, it's a stream. For me, BTW, the video looks kinda boring. However, have fun with it. Martina |
