Shakespeare's plays and was in league with the Ku Klux Klan in part 2, the coach who owed Porky a large gambling debt in part 3, the subplot about teacher Miss Balbricker (sp?) aka Miss Ballbreaker especially her reunion with her long lost love Snookie; the Porky's movies did have some engaging storylines and funny jokes!  And even some wetlook, when everyone had to jump in the water when the nightclub was wrecked in part 1 and the riverboat was wrecked in part 3.

I agree with you about the water rides!  I call raincoats on a water ride CHEATING!  I remember one day many years ago at Magic Mountain.  A group of park managers (including women in nice skirts and blouses) were going around and riding every ride.  They came into each ride through the exit and got one train or boat to themselves.  When they rode Tidal Wave, I thought "Yes, they are going to get their nice skirts and blouses wet!". But oh no, they put on raincoats and got off the ride completely dry.  I should have known raincoats were what they were carrying in their fanny packs.  Later I saw them coming off of Roaring Rapids.  They were removing the raincoats as they exited, and their clothes were completely dry.  Like Johnny Cash sang, "I don't like it, but I guess thinbgs happen that way!"
