There are loads of pointless examples like that.....i.e. why do some basic cable channels bother to show z grade "T & A" movies...where they censor the Tits and the Asses......cos if you remove the T&A from a T&A movie....what have you got left......nothing else that is worth watching. People don't watch "Porkys" movies for their literary content and educational value. Taking out the T&A from a T&A movie is like removing the hamburger meat and just serving a bun with lettuce.......and my favorite pointless thing is...

....when you go to the water rides at many theme parks.....they will have optional RAINCOATS to hand out....if you don't want to get wet.....and whats the point of going on a water ride....if you want to wear a raincoat cos you don't want to get wet. Duhh.....if you don't want to get wet...then DON'T go on the ride....ha ha
