I know the Rod Stewart music video you mean....it is "Tonight I'm Yours" and was shot at a hotel pool in Los Angeles in 1983. It took me 10 years to find a copy of that one too....mainly because there were 2 different music videos made for that same song...and every time they played it..they would play the alternative music video for it..and not the one they shot with the pool scenes. Moreover, when Rod released his greatest hits music video sold in stores..that video was excluded from Rod's video he released in stores too.

I was searching for it for 10 years too...cos I would see it whenever I was nowhere near a vcr...and whenever they ran Rod Stewart specials on music video channels...they would never play it. FINALLY...after years of trying to capture it...I finally caught it on tape earlier this year (from a Canadian music video channel).

The good news is...I have it now. The bad news is....when you actually examine the video in detail.....everyhing in the video is edited "ass backwards"...and all the scenes at the beginning with the girls wet are from the end, and all the scenes near the end are from the beginning. The editor was a nutter who edited it backwards cos the video starts out wet and then the girls get dryer and dryer.

The irony is...all the best footage is something we never actually see...and was left on the cutting room floor. We know that several girls in dresses and office girl attire dive into the pool...cos you see that happen from a high angle helicopter shot from about 400 feet above the pool area...you see girls diving in the pool. But you never actually see those sames shots from the ground angle. So all the best footage was left out of the actual music video...we really need to see the outtakes.

It is kinda frustrating...cos you see girls diving in the pool from the helicopter shots at the beginning, and then you see a wet girl dressed like an office girl in the pool...all the beginning of the song..and then for the rest of the video all those same girls are dry... and it is edited all backwards.

All I can say is....it would have been real nice to have been staying at that hotel that day and watching that music video being shot.

I am not familiar with the Disney Kung Fu series...I would need more info on that one.

I dunno about the state of these scenes, but those are the ones I been looking for for ages and never found:

- A Rod Stewart video where girls go in and come out of a huuuuge pool during the entire song,

- A Disney Channel Kung-Fu (I think) series where a girl jumps in a pool wearing a black dress and shoes (This is one of the first scenes I ever saw, maybe 15 years ago, and I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the girl jump in).

This message is for movie buffs and collectors who have been trading tv and movie clips with me for the past 12 years.

As you may know, the number one "most wanted" long lost wet scene that all that my wetlook elders told me about when I first starting my collection was... the vintage wetlook collectors and old timers said "You gotta find that german film THE CORPSE OF BEVERLY HILLS -- cos it has an awesome pool party where the guests wade into the pool in their formal attire" for wetlook pool party.

FYI, this was a 1964 film made in Germany under the title "Tote Von Beverly Hills", but many people in the UK saw it in Soho under the title "Lu" (the leading actress) and folks in the USA saw it as "The Corpse of Beverly Hills".

I have had this most wanted item on my list for more than 12 years, and it was not available on video and had not been aired on German television since 1972.

Anyway, I have finally found a source who has a copy of this film, and we are arranging to obtain it later this week. Lots of thanks to Ralf M. in Germany for helping us find this very rare film.

Just to give you some idea of what I am referring to, this is the only known still photo of the scene in question.

The only question now is...now that we have found the most wanted wetlook scene we were looking for....what should I look for next. Does anybody have any inputs they would like to give me...on AAA rated wetlook scenes they saw on movies or tv, and that are not available on video so we need to search for it. It may take awhile...it took me 12 years to find this clip, and the people who reported this clip to me have been waiting over 25 years to see it too.
