I think that same problem has existed in many competitions that are based on subjective judging.

None more so than the world of professional ice skating events....where the judges votes are traded as freely as votes on the UN Security Council.

The Miss World beauty pageant has a long history of being totally political....where the winners are not based on merit but on the political climates of the time....and the same is true for the Nobel prize for peace.

In our world of celebrities and the media....nothing is more corrupt that the Academy Awards....that these days have little to do with merit in film making....but are more about what is politically correct and the topic of interest of the day.

Lets face it....all awards shows are pretty much a joke....the only serious competition left on this planet is "American Idol"......ha ha....just kidding.

Countries should be banned from voting for neighbours

the format should be stuck to just the 24 countries who were there, not everyone else

I did think the costumes were hilarious for Finland, but well done, different to see heavy metal winning

How the fuck the Lithuanian song did well, is beyond me

Ukraine should be banned from giving Max points to Russia and so on

Greece v Cyprus same every year, although CYprus didn't have an entry this year

Its like Terry Wogan says, it gets beyond a joke, we have a laugh watching it, cos everyone always knows whos gonna vote for who

Also, instead of UK entry, lets have England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland entering
