They were only in it for the money, that interview is just complete BS. As soon as they realised they could not make much money, they closed it down.

Much like Kev at Styx pretending that he's into wetlook Bob and Melvin were the real people behind the old Phoenix, Kev just provided some funds, then screwed them (and the models) over.
