Oh yes, these competitions are in the main purpose to compare teams. The goal is to complete fire hoses from the basin (on pics) through pump to the line, where two members of current team must hit two targets. That day there were 9 men teams and 2 women teams.

And how happened the happy accident? It was right after the competition. The water basin was full. I imagined that it is perfect chance to get sb wet. Without my words, I wonder, it happened! Few boys picked first girl and throw her in. After a moment they were carrying next one, and next. As I remember 4 girls has gone wet.

I can't tell you, if it happens every year, when the competition takes place. I was there first time and I enjoyed it. I think it depends on the boys, who did it. And I hope it will happen next year again, and again. I will bring the pics.

Oh, and I forgot to ask: What exactly happens at these firefighter-competitions? How did these things that you can see in the pictures occur? Does this usually happen at firefighter-competitions where you live or was this just a happy accident?
