Being models, they are often "show offs" by nature, so the thought of doing something that's going to provoke a response in the viewer is generally the kick they get out of it.

In addition, many girls who shy away from more risque material are quite happy doing wet work- it allows them to act in a sexy and sensual way, without it degenerating into something pornographic.

The choice of clothing is generally by concensus, sometimes the models bring along their own stuff because they think it will look good. But at the end of the day, if you are are a producer you are generally producing material for other people's tastes in the main- so you have to ensure that a balance is struck.

Whether a girl enjoys the wetlook is often down to a whole host of other factors. If she feels in a friendly, unthreatening enviroment and the shoot is fun and light hearted then she does enjoy it. If it's treated as something furtive and something to be ashaned of, then the negative comes through and she doesn't enjoy the shoot. A lot depends on the personal chemistry between the model and the photographer- but this applies to every type of shoot.

Few girls have mentioned getting wet when they are on their own. I think it has to be realised that wetlook is a very small minority fetish and it's unrealistic to expect many people in "normal life" to share it. They may enjoy a wet adventure occasionally, but it's unlikely to become pivotal to their lifestyle.

On several shoots, I have witnessed models who wanted to stay in the nice warm water of a bath- after the shoot concluded.

On one fantastic occasion, Diana and I were shooting in the river. At the end of the shoot I called her out of the water and started packing away my things. She stood chatting for a couple of minutes and then decided to go back into the river (still wearing her white suit) and have another 10 minutes. It was a glorious experience, sitting on the bank on a beautiful day watching a beautiful woman enjoying herself in the river.
